berezovsky’s are pretty hot. there are a few lined up with Chop original etudes at a live concert in Amsterdam which was ul’d here a while ago. its not a complete set but it has lots of good ones. i will ul it if i get the original poster’s permission.

hatto and grante, not to mention hamelin, blow berezovsky’s out of the water. berezovksy may have an awesome tech, but his pedaling and voicing can sometimes be muddy. the others have a clear, crisp sound most of the time, not to mention a great tech.
There are some insane Berezovsky bootlegs of the Chop-Godowsky etudes.
Just because the ones you heard weren’t to your taste doesn’t mean squat.
