Who knows about this ancient art?

Just bought the USB version of LP 120 from audio technical and got the VM540ML. in case I want to do nice Tfers of rarer things before I throw them out ; )

First question: The impulsive nerd in me wants to buy an ultrasonic bath cleaner that costs more than the components of the TT rig. This wise or should I be using brushes or some other more reasonable way to clean things?

After spending a solid week researching various ultrasonic cleaning machines (with a protruding and bulbous geek tool chub) I have made the extremely ill considered purchase of buying a Elmasonic P60H and a rotating motor to clean records.

I’ll let you know how or if it works

maybe with some before and afer things on the 5 LPs I got form goodwill.
