Victoires de la musique

So it’s in Évian-les-Bains this year and of course the first artist is Vinnitskaya
Why you don’t come to Paris, Anna?
Debargue will be playing a movement from SS 5th later.
It’s being streamed live on culturebox, I’ll try and find a link for you mofos.

Maybe not, my internet is too shit and I’m impatient.
Also they cut the sheeyat out of that rach 2 first movement.

It’s the thought that counts.

didn’t the Stasi say that dude?

See if this works, my laplop wifi is fucked up so I have to use my phone.

Maybe. I didn’t know who the Stasi was until I googled it. I have a very poor knowledge of history. It’s something I’m a little ashamed about.

Thats okay dude, we all learn at different times. It’s the continuing-learning part that matters. My knowledge of history isn’t so good either.

Appreciate it. It works, I just don’t know who the pianist is, so I’ll pass.

It’s probably not work watching anyway, everything is cut.

Do you have any favorite history books?

Hmm I’m not much of a reader of history. Probably the one I enjoyed most was Orlando Figes’ A People’s Tragedy: The Russian Revolution: 1891-1924. I read that about 15 years ago. I prefer reading fiction and poetry, though haven’t done much of that the past 2 years.
