Da MATURE LEAF capcunt šŸ‚

It reflectz a lack ov imagination and an ova-inflated zenze of interpretive gensui

He iz wazting hiz talent by not explorin mo rep

hiz Zibeliuz dizc a few yrz ago wuz amazin

He iz very zolid n reliable in Zart n Beethoven but zo iz da :doc:

but da :doc: zeez zenze n recz da FEINBERG inztead n offahz mo nu gensui to da world inztead ov da zame old zheeyat

Imagination isnā€™t based on what you play, but how you play it.

Heā€™s wasting his talented because heā€™s not play Lisztā€™ Polonaise No. 1? Or Feinbergā€™s poor manā€™s Scrib? Lol.

He plays what he wants to play. If Iā€™m Andsnes, Iā€™m not going to learn Bortkiewicz Etudes to make the likes of da Comme happy.

Also, :doc: is solid and reliable in everything. Thatā€™s the best I can say about him.

Tbf the sort of pianist who is gonna do an inspired BORTETZ set probably isnā€™t going to do a visionary :nigga:, different qualities needed imo.

Idk, Katsaris has done great work with the Bortetz and da Brotha works heā€™s played. Maybe heā€™s an exception.

I understand, but a pianist needs a big an varied rep.

11 concert programs 75 mins each is not that unreasonable and Horowitz got them under his belt by age 23 Lmaoooo.

In the 21st century, there is no excuse for an incomplete pianist anyway.

If youā€™ve been a pro for decades, your rep should reflect it. You absolutely need a good-sized rep, even if you are a self-proclaimed specialist in xyz :fire:

Harshness courtesy of Da :tm:

I rather listen to a pianist w/ 5-10 unforgettable interps, than a pianist who plays 50 proficient perfs that you forget as soon as theyā€™re over.

Give me ABM playing Chop Bal 1 over MAH playing da Concord Zon 24/7/365.

Correct, Mikey in Chopin totally not my cup of tea.

There literally is no excuse not to expand your rep after 20 years if youā€™re a pianist with 2 working hands

:fire:

Both are sheeyat in their own way :fire:

Pearls before swine.

No disrespect, but if heā€™s shit in Chopin, then you should not play Chopin, at allā€¦in my opinion.

Itā€™s my opinion too, Michelangeliā€™s Chopin is some kind of meh for me. Maybe not as bad as the general Chop comp level

Da TM only voice his tru private opinions on here, take it with a grain of sheeyat. :dong:

Tru Chopinists: Moiseiwitsch, Friedman, Rosenthal, Cortot

In a rare derail to a previous derailā€¦

I proclaim Tim Roth a genius not for pulp fiction but for Four Rooms and his proximity to this song by combustible Edison.

AND when young, is cute enough to use a prop to get chicks to gargle your balls in your apartment while dad is at work!

Zwine live in and eat their own shit. You overestimate your own abilities.

You can only ā€œchillā€ because you canā€™t even play Mozartā€™s K 545 proficiently.

Criticizing ABM. If he heard what you think is you playing da 88, heā€™d ask for an advil.

Humble yourself Porky the Pig.

Iā€™m not the biggest fan of Michelangeli but certain recordings are very very interesting.

Itā€™s cool to hear the Liszt Totentanz treated with respect AND fury. Very stylish.

Dayum, letā€™s not have a random civil war over this. I dun hate da Michelangeli playing, dere are a number of recs dat I enjoy, but dere are other mofos dat Iā€™d rather hear.

Randomly I found dat I dun even listen to classical piano anymore. General go for sum symphonic sheeyat or even sum Art Tatum. Or JAV porn (more often den not, dose sounds are most pleasing to moi  )

His Buenos Arse rec is good! Apparently trying to impress chic in the audience I bet.

Iā€™m not saying that because I like the way he plays Chopin that itā€™s the best or the only way. I mean Frigginā€™ Argerich wanted to study with him when her career was already established. Who are we to say he doesnā€™t know how to play Chopin or thatā€™s itā€™s zheeyat? It makes you look petty when you say a obvious master canā€™t play something. I donā€™t like MAH, but I recognize he has supreme technical abilities and that heā€™s a dedicated musician.

And then Porky tells me that ABM, a master who has absolute dedication to his craft is sheeyat? All I can do is laugh.
