yeah I don’t get the sound. Even iPhone better sound throw an mv88 on there for cheap = good sound no excuse these days really. This fav holiday movie (Tangerine) of Tru was shot entirely on iPhones and did well.
The closeness seems like it was micked near the piano (or maybe in the piano) but the reverb is completely artificial and I wouldn’t be surprised if the birds were too. Personally, I think it’s fake.
