That makes a lot of sense. My fingers 345 used to that pattern from thirds stuff. If I anchor that the new double tap on one (thumb) may settle in better.
The greater question is do this ossia sound like shit when done

My LH want to do 55 and 11 descending but would def be speed limiting. Tru’s fingering gotta be right. The right hand solid after thinking about top line patterm in stead of gaped thumb fingerings.
Not my own invention, tiz da pimp own fingering in analogous passages in da Pimp 1, Rappah 9, n Tot.
I suspect tiz one of da few elegant solutions for sumthing like Diz
