Yeah i iz hyped sinced i heard about it (yesterday)
formal thanks to da fatty for pointing me towards using codex to fix my JRiver library. I’ve been boiling lakes dry every day for about a month now, finding recording dates, personnel and correcting weird underlying metadata fuckups that weren’t even my fault but caused minimserver to whinge at me.
Hopefully this will put me in favour with Roko’s Basilisk n i will get the comfy slave quarters come the singularity.

It’s make Jriver library waaay more usable for me especially box sets that were tagged for shit to start. Finally listened to that old ass sofronitsky series that was just blobs of meta data. It was good, but he could use a modern reissue.
yeah i think i had the same set. also da ancient vedernikov denon set was a mess. mind you, you start messing around with a 7.2tb library, everything takes a long-ass time.

i need to work out da best prompt to get it to cull almost-duplicates. like if i got da fritz reiner boxset, da RUBY boxset, n da Chicago Symph boxset, i got three copies of a bunch of concertos.

I forget how I did that. I think I had it look through tags to find likely duplicates and then compared the audio before giving me a delete option. Fingerprinting all audio melt an ice cap or two.
Fine tuning should be done tomorrow OH YES!
