@ElGordito Do you know which of these I should choose for this DVD5 rip? I know it should be 576p25, but which of the Codecs is da best?
Chose H.265ā¦cuz it apparently has a more efficient compression algo. VP9 encodes the audio in some weird format.

Dependsā¦ I just keep resoluiton the same so it doesnāt do amacha scaling in place of something better (i use topaz for that). Target bitrate gonna have more to do with quality than the compression wrapper I think. H. 265 probably most universally readable one and does a good job bringing size down.
I kept the bitrate the same as the info presented on the rips rootractor page.

Something is off. The 4.5GB VOB folder turned into a 459mb mkv file. The mp4 conversion was like 2GB.

Allegedly found a DVD of paderewki playing Hungarian rhapsody no 2. Cooked it last night. Not sure I want to mess with audio. I canāt pitch correct without a piano cuz I got tin ears.
