This is really interesting actually. From memory anyway the LvB concertos are curiously absent from the 19/20 Beethoven season here. I wonder if I dare to hope to have him do them here as well next season.
Probably not alas, since I believe he’s burnt his bridges with the concert halls here.
Is he going to adjust his piano in between concertos?
Has he done that earlier?
He took out the keyboard after Bach C minor Partita and changed it before Beethoven op. 111 some 10 years ago

Coz just too much music and my teacher hammered good program ideas into me.
I don’t go for these cd rep concerts. Last 3 Schubert/Beethoven zons, all chop nocts is just a blergh idea to me.

I think the best programs should have a mix of popular to draw crowds and underplayed to let them experience zumthing new. Zoundz obviouz i guezz.
Can be hard finding that zong that’s muso and pleb friendly. I was programming schnittke improvisation and fugue with 
bagatelles at one point. Surprisingly good reaction to the Shnittke.

Now that I think of it longer, yeah I agree, tiz juz too much 
for one aftahnoon…
It’s too much for the batteries in my recorder as well. I can’t believe KZ isn’t thinking about these things.
