NO
But Nojima really was good. I listened to part of Vlad’s recording an hour ago or so incidentally, and it sounded neither ordinary, boring etc to my ears. In fact if anything it had more life and colour than I remember from his studio recs.
Yes, I think Minoru Nojima is a serious candidate here…the few recordings I’ve heard were very impressive.
