Hmmm, da Lompech’s ears are a bit sheeyat (based on his reviews) but diz story iz probably credible. For whatever reason, I‘ve never been inclined to hear Tiberghien live.

Cherkassky’s tech was like Rubinstein’s IMO: sufficient. Easy to forget he was almost 70 when he had his breakthrough.
