And da Chop decisions can always be explained through voice-leading “morphing” etc, but in a purely pianistic sense.
Da pimp will go full theory sensei on yo azz and generally would keep things consistent, ….although, there are always exceptions, like diz spot in da Chasse Nigga:

Diz not meant to be executed exactly, Da 5 vs 6 is just Liszt helping mofos out and telling them the bare minimum of notes required for execution
I play it as written but it’s not exactly “audible”. Just slight longer on Da first note - plus two tremolo turns - equals 5 notes total. And they sorta kinda correspond to the right hand.
